Spring’s Message:
It’s now time for a Spring Clean!

Have you been experiencing any of these feelings the last few months…
Tiredness? A little foggy? Grey? Tight in the body? Lethargic? Stagnant energies?

The last few months have felt a little heavy, for all of us!
The change in seasons is now showing us that we are allowed to personally welcome in change now too…

The Niyamas are the second limb of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga.  The word ‘Niyama’ translates as ‘observances’ thought of as recommended habits for healthy living. They’re traditionally thought of as practices concerned with ourselves, but we can think of them as affecting the outside world too.

The first Niyama is ‘Saucha’ which means ‘Cleanliness’. Cleanliness in the body but also in the mind. When we think of Saucha we often think of the body and the foods we eat, but what about cleanliness of the mind, our thoughts and our internal space?

Spring is inviting us to have a little more Saucha in our lives… a ‘Spring Clean’ not just externally, but internally too!

Introducing MY:YOGA x Spring Series

What is the
Spring Series?

The movement from Winter to Spring makes us feel a renewed sense of energy. We want an energetic lift; a boost.
The renewal in Mother Nature teaches us this - there are seasons to everything and now it is a time to bloom and feel a new sense of balance, internally and externally.

The Series is a month’s programme focusing on up-regulating your system, feeling a new revived energy and a little lighter within yourself and what better way to welcome this energy than being outside in her presence!

Every Sunday from
25th April-16th May

11.00am-12.00pm

Back in the park.
New themes to explore each week.

THE SCHEDULE

Although each week will be themed differently, all classes will involve…

• Removing and detoxing stuck energies within the body through creative movement

• Incorporating Restorative poses at the end of classes to allow you to truly relax. As the World is slowly asking us to start to ‘quicken’ up our lives again, it is super important to have tools to help us balance this out by slowing down too!

• Finding balance within our Parasympathetic Nervous System which controls our ‘rest state’ through Breathwork

• All round good movement that helps you to feel lighter within the body!

Week 1: Inner Spring
Sunday 25th April

Focusing on your ‘Inner Spring’ first and finding what Spring means to you.

Week 2: Flourish
Sunday 2nd May

Just like the Flowers.
As fresh Flowers start to flourish and grow in Spring, expect movement in this class to involve ways to expand, grow and be more open within yourself.

Week 3: Grounded + Rooted
Sunday 9th May

Just like the Trees.
We’ll be exploring ways to find some more balance combined with strength in our lives.

Week 4: Continuation
Sunday 16th May

The last week will be incorporating all of the last 3 week’s classes and finding ways to keep the Spring like energy past the series.
